The Modern Student

April 2002 was the last time that I sat in a college classroom to be instructed, but I have been learning ever since. I just received via email the September issue of the BYU-Hawaii Alumni Newsletter (yes, September is almost over, but you have to remember that everyone is on Hawaiian time there...) In it I've found that my major no longer exists. It's been split into 6 different majors. That's right - no more International Business Management.
In the newsletter, there was a link to a YouTube video about "today's student" and I wanted to share it here. It's definitely something that gets me thinking about the education I have and the one I still want to have. Did I take FULL advantage of the one I paid for? No. There is always room for improvement. My need is there, and so is my desire...and I'm trying to do something about it. I realize that I don't need a college classroom right now. I've got all the resources I could ever need at my fingertips, so that I can still gain a superb education. How are you continuing to gain your deeper education?
